University of St Martk and St John

Why marjon’s

I have looked at applying to marjon’s, because what I have seen from the open day I went to I October there facilities look very top of the range and over all have a great learning environment. The courses I am looking into also offer me the chance to gain extra qualifications during the 3-year period I would be studying there. I have only looked into studying here and no other universities, mainly because marjon’s has an awful lot to offer me and the course summery looks really good, in all three I have researched. The course that has stood out me the most is the rehabilitation in sport therapy, because each assignment I will be studying is what I was looking into learning. It also offers the chance to take at personal training course for and extra qualification, I will also get plenty of opportunities to practise what I am studying and learning. The main thing on this course that stood out was I get plenty of time in the clinic putting what I learn to practise on clients as well.

If I was to go to marjon’s I would prefer to get a place on the rehabilitation course for 3 years full time study, and then go onto to do a top up course in strength and conditioning. The reason I would do a top up course, is while I was at the open day strength and conditioning looked like it would be a good course for to go onto to do, for the therapy side of work, but rehabilitation had more to offer me, but rehabilitation has a section on strength and conditioning, where I would learn the basics, this would then allow me to only need an extra year of study on a top up course, to further my knowledge in strength and conditioning, which will also again me an extra qualifications, and gateways for more job opportunities  for when I leave university.
