Summary
After looking into my options I have chose to carry onto higher education at marjon’s, where I am hoping to study rehabilitation and sport therapy. For back up I also applied for strength and conditioning. My plan is to hopefully do a full time 3-year course at marjon’s, continue to work alongside this part time to fund me to go university. I would then save up for a gap year after my 3 years of studying. I would go to the European tour for 36 days and then, pay to do the Aussie adventure for 6 months, to get work experience. To finally come back to Plymouth to apply to do a one year strength and conditioning top up course at marjon’s.
After completing these overall 4 years successfully, I would look into applying to royal navy to start my career as either a personal trainer or some from rehabilitation, to do this I will need to complete three years in the navy, as any of the three jobs I researched. Ideally I would want to start off as a supply chain logistician, to then see if I get promoted into the PTI branch, to start my proper career in the royal navy.
If the navy isn’t successful I will look into going into the private work sector as self employed sport therapist, doing rehabilitation, sports massages, and personal training.
